As a System and Network Administrator, you will play a key role in designing, implementing and maintaining the IT infrastructure to meet the needs of our business. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, problem solving and providing technical support to our internal customers.
Your responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing and maintaining the IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and communication systems.
- Monitoring and maintaining the security and stability of the systems, including the implementation of best practices and preventative measures.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting to internal customers.
- Configuring, maintaining and upgrading network devices, including switches, routers, firewalls and wireless access points.
- Managing and maintaining backups, disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
- Evaluating and recommending hardware and software purchases and upgrades.
- Collaborating with team members to brainstorm and implement new technologies.
- Making informed decisions quickly and taking ownership of the infrastructure at scale.
Must have:
- 2+ years experience in system and network administration.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and routing.
- Strong knowledge of firewall and security technologies.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly and have a consistent track record of delivery.
- Strong analytic capability and the ability to create innovative solutions.
- A passion for staying on the leading edge of technology and best practices.
